The Weatherization Assistance Program goal is to help reduce energy costs for low-income households in Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties of South Carolina by increasing energy efficiency in homes.
Each dwelling is assessed to determine the most effective energy savings route to employ. Provisions such as installing attic hatches, installation for windows and doors and sealing major air leaks are provided free of charge.
